In WWII, the US military designed the M-1943 to solve the practical problems of the originally M-1941 field jacket nondurable and not carrying too many things. The M-1943 was a revolutionary jacket in U.S. Military history, which set the bar for future U.S. Army field jackets to come. This M-1943 is made of cotton sateen, was originally issued with a removable hood and pile liner, making the field jacket extremely versatile in warm and colder conditions. ◄DETAILS Reproduced earlier version P.Q.D. No. 370-C. Notch lapels. Buttoned placket. Urea buttons. Long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Two chest buttoned pockets. Two front waist buttoned pockets. 12 oz. cotton sateen, 100% cotton.
