Our traditional chore coat gets an update in a sartorial Italian fabric; think of this as tailored workwear. The basic silhouette clean lines and three patch pockets remains the same, but we've updated this utilitarian classic with a butterfly lining, slimmer fit and a slight lapel roll at the collar, all elements more typically found in a sport coat or blazer. The Italian velvet which comes to us from Pontoglio, a 63-person mill on the banks of the Oglio river that's been synonymous with fine Italian velvet and corduroy since its founding in 1883 is soft, plush and luxurious. Pair it with the matching pants as a dinner jacket, or try it with denim for a casual-but-cool approach.
