Designed in Spain, handwoven in Colombia by Wayuu artisans, and constructed back in Spain using 15th-century techniques, these espadrilles combine the best of Europe and Latin America in one special shoe. The toe features Guanabana’s striking hand-crocheted patterns (peep the color-blocked grid), the heel is soft suede, the midsole is braided jute and the outsole is rubber for assured traction. Heads up: these will feel tight at first, but the suede stretches out over time — we recommend choosing your normal size, or even sizing down if you fall in between two. Guanabana’s boho-chic designs are the realization of founder Almudena Espinosa’s dream to make a lasting positive impact on artisan communities.
