The 1460 boot is constructed from black Smooth Slice leather with a Hair On leather tongue and dragon insole artwork. Signature DM’s yellow features have been modified into traditional ‘lucky’ red, including the exposed undercoat, welt stitching and AirWair heel loop. Finishing gold details include a dragon-engraved toe plate. A lace charm. And brushed hardware. All for storming into the year with luck. Born on 1st April 1960. Named the 1460 boot. Our 8-eye boot is unmistakable. Remixed and redefined — never replicated. Smooth Slice is the original DM's Smooth leather with added character. The base color is different to the top — showing a pop of contrasting color underneath. Hair On is an all-natural printed material made from genuine hair and leather. The DMS sole is a cornerstone of Dr. Martens construction. A two-tone PVC sole marked with our signature grooving and our unique tread. One of our most flexible soles, well known for its comfort and stability. Construction - Made with a Goodyear-welted lines that are heat-sealed and reinforced with our signature welt stitch. Footbed - Slimmer and a more tapered toe shape.
